MyShell is a decentralized AI consumer layer that allows developers to build rich types of AI. Its ecosystem includes robots such as OpenVoice (an instant voice cloning program); MeloTTS, a multilingual text-to-speech (TTS) library, etc.
Myshell has been in public beta for more than a year, with a total financing amount of US$16.6 million. It recently launched its premium NFT MySoul. Odaily will explain how to obtain the NFT and other parts of the interaction process in this article.
Introduction to Myshell

Myshell allows ordinary users or professional developers to create various AIs, such as dialogue, translation, mapping, text adventure, code writing, etc., and supports giving AI different personalities and dialogue styles.
In terms of creation, Myshell provides developers with a variety of components, enabling users to build an AI robot in minutes, and allows users to describe AI features using natural language. Myshell's Auto-OC tool will write AI setting prompts for users.
In addition, Myshell supports voice cloning, which can clone the same voice based on a few seconds of audio, and supports multiple languages such as English, Chinese, Spanish, Japanese, etc.

Myshell has completed two rounds of financing, namely:
In October 2023, MyShell announced that it had completed a $5.6 million seed round of financing at a valuation of $57 million. This round of financing was led by INCE Capital, with participation from Hashkey Capital, Folius Ventures, SevenX Ventures, OP Crypto, etc.
In March 24, MyShell announced the completion of a US$11 million Pre-A financing round, led by Dragonfly, with participation from Delphi Ventures, Bankless Ventures, Maven 11 Capital, Nascent, Foresight Ventures, GSR, Animoca Ventures, Nomad Capital and OKX Ventures.
Premium NFT MySoul
On May 15, Myshell announced the launch of the premium NFT MySoul. According to the official statement, MySoul is not just another "NFT". It is closely connected to the MyShell ecosystem and will create more value in the process of Myshell building the future. It can "enjoy pure privilege" . The activity will end at the end of May.
The total number of MySoul is 3333, of which 2600 are guaranteed white and 2200 are lucky white. In Phase 1, testnet users will be allocated 65% , the community will be allocated 10%, MyShell Treasury will be allocated 15%, and NFT Launchpad and cooperative communities will be allocated 10%. The testnet is a way for the majority of users to directly participate, which Odaily will explain in detail in the next section.
Phase 1 Testnet
Step 1: Register an account. MyShell supports logging in with email or directly with a wallet. The difference between the different login methods lies in the asset management method. Logging in with email will generate an AA wallet, and asset management is limited to operations on the web page.
Step 2: Enter the Web3 interface. Click the lower left corner of the page to switch between Classic mode and Web3 mode. The Classic mode is a robot interaction, which can obtain MyShell Points and Shell Coins through interaction. It may be linked to future tokens, but it is not the focus of this article.
Step 3: Bind your personal profile. The current test network requires certification on the X platform (Twitter) to obtain test tokens, so users need to bind their accounts through the personal profile interface first.
Step 4: Get test coins. Users can obtain testETH and Shell Token by issuing a document for certification on the X platform. In addition, Shell Token can also be exchanged through Shell Coins in the classic mode.
Step 5: Exchange tokens and earn coins. Users can exchange Shell Token for 5 other tokens, including PIC, HER, LLM, TTS and SD. There is no difference between the tokens. The exchanged tokens can be deposited into the coin earning module for interest.

According to the official announcement, users aiming to obtain the whitelist should "grind to be the top earner", and "the final reward is far more juicy than numbers, and all organic interactions will be favored." Although the specific details have not been announced, the literal meaning is that all users participating in the testnet are expected to be selected for the whitelist.
MyShell is one of the few projects that effectively combines AI and Web3, and has raised considerable funds. There is still more than a week left until the deadline, and the interactive value is high.
