ZKsync: There are no major problems with the airdrop design, but the communication of details is not clear enough

According to Mars Finance, ZKsync once again posted on the community account ZK Nation that airdrop distribution is extremely challenging. Complex "airdrop factories" operate millions of robot addresses. The behavior patterns of these robots are difficult to distinguish from real people, which makes traditional airdrops based on interactive activities completely useless for building resilient and sustainable communities.

ZK Nation added that there are imperfections in our airdrop design, but we believe we have made reasonable trade-offs. We also realize that many people are frustrated because they received less tokens than expected. We take this very seriously and have spent several nights studying the report and repeatedly checking the data to understand the full picture and eliminate any possible errors. Although no major problems were found, we also realized that our communication of the details of the airdrop design was not clear enough. To address this issue, we have developed an initial set of FAQs and are preparing a more systematic way for the community to collect and prioritize feedback, and do our best to answer the remaining questions in a fully transparent manner.

Dozens of ecosystem projects have pledged to distribute their tokens to the community, and nearly 50% of the total token supply remains reserved for the community. Airdrops will begin on June 17.
