ZKsync: There are no major problems with the airdrop design, but the communication of details is not clear enough

Odaily Odaily News ZKsync once again posted on the community account ZK Nation that airdrop allocation is extremely challenging, and complex "airdrop factories" operate millions of robot addresses. The behavior patterns of these robots are difficult to distinguish from real people, which makes traditional interactive activity-based airdrops completely useless for building resilient and sustainable communities. ZK Nation added that there are imperfections in our airdrop design, but we believe that we have made reasonable trade-offs. We also realize that many people are frustrated because they received fewer tokens than expected. We take this very seriously and have spent several nights studying reports and repeatedly checking data to understand the full picture and eliminate any possible errors. Although no major problems were found, we also realized that our communication on the details of the airdrop design was not clear enough. To address this issue, we have developed an initial set of FAQs and are preparing a more systematic way for the community to collect and prioritize feedback, and do our best to answer the remaining questions in a fully transparent manner. Dozens of ecosystem projects have pledged to allocate their tokens to the community, and nearly 50% of the total token supply remains reserved for the community. Airdrop collection will begin on June 17.
