According to Cointelegraph, as of the close of trading, the first spot Bitcoin ETF on the Australian Stock Exchange ASX had a trading volume of $1.3 million on its first trading day, which is far lower than the first trading volume of the US spot Bitcoin ETF ($4.5 billion). VanEck, the issuer of the VanEck Bitcoin ETF (VBTC), earlier expressed optimism about its product, saying that despite the difference in market size, the product will achieve similar growth as the US spot Bitcoin ETF.
