Odaily Odaily News Lookonchain monitored the US spot Bitcoin ETF data on July 18 and showed: 1. BlackRock increased its holdings by 1,708 bitcoins, worth approximately US$108.7 million, and currently holds 323,833 bitcoins, worth approximately US$20.62 billion; 2. Grayscale reduced its holdings by 11 bitcoins, worth approximately US$713,000, and currently holds 273,005 bitcoins, worth approximately US$17.4 billion; 3. 9 Bitcoin ETFs increased their holdings by a total of 2,194 bitcoins, worth approximately US$139.7 million.

Odaily Odaily News Glassnode disclosed data on the X platform showing that the US spot Bitcoin ETF has accumulated more than 887,000 BTC, second only to CEX's 3 million BTC holdings. In other aspects, miners including Patoshi hold about 705,000 BTC, government entities hold about 207,000 BTC, and trustees hold about 139,000 BTC.

Odaily Odaily News Bitwise updated official data showing that as of July 16, its Bitcoin spot ETF (BITB) held 39,927.72 BTC, with a market value of $2,592,906,943.58. The current BITB circulation shares are 73,260,000.

Bitwise BITB holds nearly 40,000 bitcoins, worth about $2.59 billion

Odaily Odaily News Bitwise Chief Investment Officer Matt Hougan said that since the launch of the spot Bitcoin ETF, the number of Bitcoins purchased by related funds has reached about 263,965, while the number of Bitcoins mined by Bitcoin miners during the same period was 129,281, which means that the number of BTC purchased by Bitcoin ETFs since their launch is more than twice the amount mined by miners. In addition, Bitcoin has risen by about 40% since the launch of the ETF on January 11, and has risen by more than 100% since October 2023.
