Odaily Odaily reported that according to Coinglass data, the entire network had a liquidation of US$787 million in the past 24 hours, of which long positions were liquidated for US$675 million and short positions were liquidated for US$111 million; ETH had a liquidation of US$278 million, exceeding BTC ($245 million).

Bitcoin experienced a massacre this morning, once dropping to $52,430, setting a new low in nearly half a year and recording the largest single-day decline of over 10%. ETH was even more disastrous, earlier plunging to $2,084 (the lowest point this year was $2,051), with the largest single-day decline exceeding 22%, approaching half of the historical high of $4,092.
At the time of writing, ETH has quickly rebounded to around $2,350, with a violent fluctuation of nearly 30% within an hour.

According to Coinglass data, the total open interest in Bitcoin futures contracts across the network is 532,760 BTC (approximately $32.32 billion). Among them, the open interest in CME Bitcoin contracts is 140,690 BTC (approximately $8.52 billion), ranking first; the open interest in Binance Bitcoin contracts is 127,180 BTC (approximately $7.71 billion), ranking second.

The total unresolved Bitcoin contract positions across the network have decreased to $32.32 billion.

OKX market data shows that BTC has dropped below 53000 USDT in the short term, currently trading at 53010.3 USDT, with a 24H decline of 12.41%. ETH fell below 2100 USDT in the short term before rebounding, currently trading at 2229.8 USDT, with a 24H decline of 23.14%.
