The whale had withdrawn 14,384 ETH (about $47.33 million) from Binance at an average price of $3,290 and deposited them into Lido for staking during the period of 6/22-8/4. Then on the evening of 8/5, when the market crashed, the whale may have lost confidence and started redeeming ETH from Lido in batches and transferring them back to Binance. An hour ago, the last 5,000 ETH were transferred to Binance. By withdrawing at an average price of $3,290 and then transferring back to Binance at an average price of $2,417, the whale may have lost $12.55 million (-26.5%) on this ETH investment.

The whale transferred out 795.9 billion PEPE from Binance at a cost price of $0.0000032 on March 1, which was worth $2.55 million at the time. Subsequently, in the downward trend of the market on August 1, the whale reduced their position by half and transferred it to the exchange at a price of $0.00001054.
