Montenegrin authorities say they have arrested Roman Ziemian, co-founder of the alleged crypto scam scheme FutureNet. The scheme allegedly stole approximately $21 million through sophisticated crypto scams. South Korea and Ziemian's native Poland have issued arrest warrants for him, charging him with fraud, money laundering and theft. Police say he could face life in prison in South Korea. In mid-2020, South Korean authorities began investigating FutureNet after 950 people claimed they lost millions of dollars investing in FutureNet. Ziemian co-founded FutureNet with Stephan Morgenstern in 2018 and launched a related crypto token, FuturoCoin (FTO), which has since gone almost to zero. (Cointelegraph)
