US Vice President Kamala Harris' odds of winning the November presidential election have returned to 50%, marking a tie with former President Donald Trump on the Polymarket platform.
In that market, Harris’ odds have risen to about even from about 46% last Thursday, according to Polymarket. The Democratic nominee led Trump two weeks ago, suggesting that election odds remain volatile this month.
Trump previously held a 72% lead on July 16, before current President JOE Biden withdrew and then endorsed Harris.
Among key battleground states, Trump leads Harris in Georgia, Arizona and Nevada according to Polymarket election odds, while Harris leads in Michigan and Wisconsin. The two candidates are tied in Pennsylvania.
Last Friday, independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. announced that he would suspend his campaign in the 2024 election and expressed support for Trump, with whom he Chia crypto-friendly views.
Trump has been a crypto supporter throughout his campaign and announced his support for a decentralized finance project called “The DeFiant Ones,” led by his two sons.
