Catizen claims to have 30 million total users and ranks first in revenue among Telegram apps.

Telegram’s mini-app Catizen, a tap-to-earn and play-to-airdrop gaming platform, announced on September 7 that it had surpassed 34 million total users in its first six months.
In a post on social media platform X, Catizen described itself as the highest-grossing app on Telegram, with more than 800,000 paying users and an average revenue of $33 per paying user.

According to previous information, Pluto Studio, the publisher of Catizen, recently received an undisclosed investment from The Open Platform, the largest developer organization of the TON network.
Rapid growth
Since Catizen was launched as Pluto’s first project in early 2024, it has received support from Hashkey and Binance Labs.
According to a post, “HashKey will provide regulatory guidance and advice to Catizen and its other products, as well as technical support for blockchain infrastructure operations.”
This cooperation marks HashKey's official entry into the TON ecosystem, and Catizen is HashKey's first Web3 partner in the TON ecosystem.
Ben El-Baz, general manager of HashKey Global, said that one of the driving forces behind HashKey's decision to join the project was the rapid growth in the number of developers on the TON blockchain. El-Baz believes that this trend marks "a prosperous and vibrant new phase for the ecosystem."
El-Baz also said that TON provides Catizen and other projects with an advantage that other platforms cannot match: its massive 900 million user base.
El-Baz explained, “It is this large user base that solves one of the most difficult problems for Web3 builders: how to acquire users effectively.”
Clicker games, or “click to earn money” games, are gaining attention in 2024.
Another popular game based on Telegram, Hamster Kombat, has recently surpassed 300 million users. The Hamster Foundation, the company behind the game, has been hinting at the largest airdrop in history. To achieve this goal, they must break the record set by Uniswap in 2020, when Uniswap's airdrop distributed more than $6.43 billion in digital assets.
