The current implementation schemes of Bitcoin liquidity staking can be divided into three main types, each with different characteristics and advantages and disadvantages.

The first solution is the on-chain self-custody model. This model uses Bitcoin scripts to create pledge contracts and introduces complex cryptographic techniques such as one-time signatures (EOTS) and timestamp protocols to ensure the security and finality of pledged assets.
