According to Foresight News , Danny Ryan, a researcher at the Ethereum Foundation, announced his resignation. He stated on GitHub that his resignation was due to personal reasons and that he wanted to make room for new opportunities. He also emphasized that this decision does not reflect problems in Ethereum or the crypto industry. Ryan said that by the end of this year, his top priority is to take care of his family and some small personal projects that have been postponed. He currently has no full-time plans and is interested in finding an interesting part-time job in 2025.
Ryan served as the lead coordinator for Ethereum’s The Merge upgrade and oversaw the launch of the beacon chain in 2021. Ryan also actively participated in the progress updates of Ethereum Improvement Proposals.
