According to ChainCatcher, identity tokenization company Civic and Web3 car rental platform Rentality announced a partnership to launch a blockchain driver’s license verification service on the Base network.
With the Civic ID Verification Pass, Rentality users can verify their driver’s license online to rent a vehicle, without the need for physical verification. The technology is designed to streamline the rental process and improve security and compliance.
Rentality CEO Tatura said that users can now rent cars directly through smart devices using crypto wallets. The service has been launched in Miami and plans to expand to other regions in the future.
