On September 19, the community began to spread information that Banana Gun Telegram Bot users had been hacked and lost their assets. This caused the Token price on BANANA to be negatively affected.
Specifically, on the afternoon of September 19, some members of Banana Gun's Telegram Bot project community announced that BananaGun's wallet may have been hacked. After that, Banana Gun officially responded that they were investigating the incident and temporarily suspended the bot service.
After this information went viral, the price of $BANANA briefly dropped by nearly 10% before recovering to $39.68 at the time of writing.

In Banana Gun's official Telegram channel, the team said:
“We are investigating this issue and have suspended the bot service.”
Community member ETH also posted on the X platform that:
“So far, 36 victims on the Primary Network have lost nearly 563 ETH, which is about $1.4 million. I can’t say for sure that Banana Gun has been hacked, as the number of victims is not large enough yet.”
Later, ETH posted on the X platform that the team had confirmed that hackers had likely taken control of nearly 50 Telegram accounts and were siphoning funds through them. The attack now appears to have ended.
Banana Gun is a Telegram Bot designed to help users hunt for TGEs safely. It aims to be the primary tool for helping users hunt Token and make manual transactions on the Ethereum network, and may expand to other Blockchains in the future.
