According to ChainCatcher news, the publicly-listed US company La Rosa Holdings (LRHC) will integrate BTC and cryptocurrency payment options for a network of over 3,000 real estate agents.
The company will allow agents to receive commissions in the form of digital assets. The company provides the La Rosa Realty platform to help agents manage their business, from buying and selling properties to communicating with clients.
The company stated that the program aims to address the "growing demand for alternative payment methods among agents and clients." JOE La Rosa, the company's CEO, said in a statement: "This initiative could create a new revenue stream for La Rosa, with the company charging a 2% fee for agents who choose to receive payments in cryptocurrency."
