Crypto catalysts to watch this week

1. MicroStrategy’s addition to Nasdaq 100 - MicroStrategy will be added to the Nasdaq 100 stock index on Dec. 23. This will increase the amount of capital flowing into its stock and the funds available for its Bitcoin purchases

2. Sonic’s $S CEX listings and Gateway launch - Sonic (formerly Fantom) will list its new token $S on centralized exchanges and launch Gateway, the bridge between Ethereum & Sonic L1, in the next few days

3. LFJ’s DEX aggregator launch - LFJ (formerly Trader Joe) teased the upcoming launch of its own DEX aggregator on Avalanche

4. Pendle’s airdrop snapshot - The snapshot for an airdrop for PENDLE stakers will be taken on Dec. 31. The airdrop will be from the airdrop points collected by the protocol over the past months

5. Fluid DEX’s deployment on Arbitrum - The teams of Fluid and Arbitrum proposed launching the Fluid DEX on Arbitrum and starting an incentives program. Fluid DEX seems to be the most capital-efficient DEX right now

6. OP token unlock - $55M worth of OP will be unlocked on Dec. 31. All of it will go to early investors and core contributors

7. OpenSea’s token launch - OpenSea is rumored to launch its token very soon as the Opensea Foundation was registered a few days ago. If you’ve ever traded NFTs, you’ll likely be eligible for an airdrop

8. LayerZero's fee-switch proposal - Voting for LayerZero's proposal to activate a buy & burn mechanism for ZRO ends on Dec. 27. So far, it looks like it will pass

9. Fuel’s big announcements - Fuel Network will make some major announcements regarding its recent developments this week

Currently, the vault is generating a whooping 67.33% APR from 3 sources:

• funding rates (from its short positions on Drift)

• Jupiter traders’ losses

• Jupiter trading fees

Since the initial launch of the first JLP Navigator Vault in November, the annualized return has been 108% APR, with a maximum drawdown of 3%.

In the last two weeks, the TVL of the protocol went from $6M to over $12M.

Tokenize your airdrop points with Rumpel

Rumpel is a novel point tokenization protocol backed by Dragonfly.

It enables its users to easily tokenize the points from various airdrop farming opportunities and sell them on a DEX like Uniswap V3 if they wish to.

The protocol is currently in an early access phase that is invite-only.

How to farm its airdrop:

• Go to the Rumpel App

• Introduce an invite code to gain access (example: 5ALC4P)

• Click on “Deposit” → “Create a Rumpel Wallet”

• Find an airdrop strategy you like (over 30 strategies are available that allow you to farm points from Ethena, Symbiotic, Karak, etc.)
