Players who can find connections between different artworks will receive Non-Fungible Token (NFT) badges as rewards, and have a chance to win one of 500 prizes related to the Metropolitan Museum, from gift shop promotion codes to private museum tours led by curators. It is reportedly the first time the Metropolitan Museum has ventured into blockchain and NFT technology, aiming to deepen audience engagement with the museum's works. The relevant personnel did not disclose details of future crypto-related projects, but hinted that the museum may experiment with artificial intelligence tools or launch virtual reality experiences next year.
