Monday (January 27): The Beam blockchain's stablecoin yield protocol Noon will launch its public testnet on January 27. The protocol features two tokens: USN and sUSN, with sUSN being a delta-neutral strategy yield version of the USN stablecoin. The governance token NOON, expected to be released in February, will allocate 65%-80% to users, providing high-level rewards. During the public test, users can earn multiplier incentives and sUSN-level yields by holding USN.
Tuesday (January 28): The mainnet of Abstract Chain, the parent company of the NFT project Pudgy Penguins, is scheduled to launch on January 28. After the mainnet launch, Abstract will introduce an incentive system and integrate Circle's Bridged USDC standard on the first day. Additionally, Abstract will release its native streaming platform Abstract Live, which is now open for broadcaster applications with future reward opportunities.
Wednesday (January 29): Tribal Token (TRIBL) will unlock 22.07 million tokens, worth approximately $30.23 million, accounting for 14.03% of the circulating supply.
SoSoValue will donate $4.7 million worth of MAG7 index tokens to the 47T Foundation. The first $1 million worth of tokens will be available for claim on January 29, 2025. Eligible holders of ETH, AAVE, LINK, ONDO, and ENA (snapshot date: January 20) can claim the tokens on the SoSoValue official website.
Thursday (January 30): Crypto derivatives exchange Bitnomial announced plans to launch the Bitnomial Clearinghouse, a CFTC-regulated derivatives clearing organization and stablecoin clearing house, on January 30, 2025.
The Ethereum L2 network Fuel will initiate the second phase of its Genesis Drop and FS-1 event on January 30, airdropping 150 million FUEL tokens. The eligibility verification and claim period will run from January 30 to March 2, 2025.
Friday (January 31): The Trump-backed NFT series will launch "Trump Bitcoin Digital Trading Card" using the Ordinals protocol on Bitcoin, with the first 160 cards from the "Mugshot Edition." Users who obtain 100 NFT cards and submit a Bitcoin wallet are eligible to claim through the NFT marketplace Magic Eden by January 31, 2025.
The Puffer Finance re-staking protocol will take a snapshot for its Season 2 Pre-CARROT credits on January 31, 2025. The Season 2 CARROT tokens will replace the off-chain credits and can be converted to PUFFER tokens proportionally.
The revised UK Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 will come into effect on January 31, 2025, clarifying that the staking of cryptocurrencies (a crucial component of Proof-of-Stake blockchains like Ethereum and Solana) does not fall under the definition of a "collective investment scheme."
The smart contract wallet Argent will cease development of zkSync Era and shift its support to Starknet, reducing support for zkSync Era alpha accounts starting January 31.
The OneKey Card service will be discontinued on January 31.
Saturday (February 1): Sui (SUI) will unlock 64.19 million tokens, worth approximately $249 million, accounting for 2.13% of the circulating supply.
Additionally, the Magic Eden token ME airdrop requires wallet binding and claim completion before February 1. All ME tokens must be claimed through the ME mobile app.
Sunday (February 2): The deployment of Uniswap V4 contracts is expected to be fully launched before February 2. Uniswap V4 features include the introduction of Hooks and Singleton mode. Hooks are code snippets that run at specific moments in a liquidity pool's lifecycle, allowing for greater customization, and Singleton is a single contract containing all the different pools in Uniswap V4.
