Charlie Rogers, the marketing director of the Nillion blind computer network, has just explained in detail the airdrop reward policy to ensure that members who have truly contributed to the community receive the reward, rather than those who only see the Nillion Discord as an "airdrop waiting room". The Nillion team has identified three main categories for airdrop distribution: community value, developer and open-source contributions, and participation in the verification program.
With a value-based approach, the weight of the rewards prioritizes members who play a role in driving the ecosystem. The higher the level of contribution, the larger the airdrop share. Two groups ineligible for the airdrop include: those who only sent four secrets, did not stake ETH, did not have a role in Discord, and did not hold the Nill Pill NFT, and those who became validators after September 14, 2024 without meeting similar criteria.
Rogers also emphasized that despite the eligibility check tool indicating they qualify, accounts such as using multiple wallets, one-click nodes, and low activity in the later stage will not receive rewards. This policy aims to encourage active contribution and sustainable development for their cryptocurrency ecosystem.
