According to The Crypto Basic, Luiz Phillipe of Orleans-Braganza, a former federal congressman in Sao Paulo, Brazil, submitted a bill to the Brazilian Congress, proposing that workers be allowed to receive up to 50% of their wages and labor rights in Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. The bill does not force the use of Bitcoin to pay wages. Employees can choose to accept Bitcoin payments after reaching an agreement with their employers and can terminate this method at any time.
