ChainCatcher reports that, according to CNBC, Ripple announced this week that the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has officially withdrawn the lawsuit against the company that lasted for four years. CNBC wrote that this represents the end of the SEC's crackdown on the cryptocurrency industry, and the Ripple case may become the final chapter of related litigation, as the case was filed on the last day of former SEC Chairman Jay Clayton's tenure.
So far, lawsuits or investigations against Coinbase, Kraken, Robinhood, Binance, and OpenSea have been withdrawn, resolved, or shelved.
