According to reports, officials from the IRGC's Intelligence and Economic Crimes Department transferred tokens from the exchange's seized assets to wallets under their control, and then sold these tokens under the pretext of an anti-corruption investigation for personal gain. Court documents reviewed by Iranian international sources show that two senior officials from the IRGC's Economic Intelligence Department, Mehdi Hajipour and Mehdi Badi, were the masterminds behind this theft.
