Planet Daily News: ETH researcher mikeneuder.eth proposed EIP-7922, aimed at improving the Ethereum validator exit queue, enhancing exit flexibility and efficiency while ensuring system security. Currently, Ethereum uses a fixed exit limit of about 16 exits per epoch, which can guarantee economic security by controlling exit numbers and preventing security decline. However, when exit demand surges, validators need to wait for a long time, increasing liquidity risks and capital costs. EIP-7922 proposes dynamically adjusting exit volume based on recent actual exit situations (for example, if the number of exits is low in the past two weeks, more exits can be currently allowed to shorten waiting time), replacing the fixed limit. The proposal is currently in the draft stage.
