PANews reported on April 3 that according to Jinshi, the U.S. Senate passed a bill with a vote of 51 to 48, which would terminate the 25% tariffs imposed by President Trump on Canadian imports. It is understood that this resolution is not binding, and House Republicans are not expected to vote on the policy. The bill, proposed by the Democratic Party, would end the national emergency declared by Trump on January 22. Previously, Trump announced additional 25% tariffs on imported products from Canada.
