Mars Finance News, on April 4, a hybrid Layer2 project BOB (Build on Bitcoin) announced that it has successfully integrated the cross-chain interoperability protocol deBridge, making BOB the first Bitcoin Layer2 supported by deBridge. deBridge is a secure interoperability layer for Web3, supporting decentralized transmission of arbitrary messages and values between different blockchains. Through this integration, connections have been established between BOB's ecosystem and ecosystems of over 20 EVM and non-EVM public chains (Solana, Berachain, Hyperliquid, Sonic, etc.), allowing users to freely and seamlessly cross-chain and convert assets and data from these chains via deBridge. This will unlock new liquidity routes for Bitcoin DeFi, break down barriers between the Bitcoin ecosystem and other public chains, and marks an important step for the Bitcoin network in building an interoperable ecosystem.
