According to ChainCatcher, blockchain gaming platform Ultra has announced the completion of a $12 million new round of financing. NOIA Capital, headquartered in Luxembourg, participated through its digital asset fund. Additionally, the company announced the appointment of Maxime van Steenberghe, former partner at <Circle> Strategies, as Chief Operating Officer. The new funds will be used to support its blockchain-based game distribution platform similar to Steam, recruit talent, expand and upgrade the platform, and pursue strategic acquisitions.
