According to HT's report on Foresight News, at 10:36 PM Eastern Time on April 11, the U.S. Customs and Border Protection issued an announcement providing further guidance on the administrative order for additional tariffs on imported goods issued by the U.S. government on April 2, 2025, as well as tariff-related administrative orders issued on April 7 and April 9. This includes conditional tariff exemptions for products such as computers, servers, smartphones, printers, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, wireless communication equipment (such as base stations and routers), memory devices, monitors, semiconductor-related components, and integrated circuits. A 22-page product exemption list on the White House website indicates that if the "U.S. components" of goods originating from any country account for 20% or more of the total customs declaration value of the imported goods, the "U.S. components" will not be subject to additional tariffs, and only the "non-U.S. components" will be subject to equivalent tariffs.
