On April 16, according to reliable sources, Movement Labs and Movement Network are investigating an incident involving some market makers from the previous month. At that time, Binance removed an unnamed market maker due to "inappropriate behavior" towards the MOVE Token. A Movement Labs spokesperson confirmed that the Movement Network Fund is conducting a third-party review of recent market makers' unusual behavior, following best practices to ensure full transparency and accountability. While the review process is ongoing, the enterprise continues to operate normally.
Additionally, multiple sources revealed that Rushi Manche, co-founder of Movement Labs, has temporarily left the company with no determined return date. On Monday, during a general meeting, Cooper Scanlon, Movement co-founder, announced Manche's "temporary leave". The week prior, the company hosted a live event in San Francisco, which Manche did not attend. Manche responded that he "still" belongs to Movement Labs. However, neither Manche nor Movement Labs provided a clear answer about whether he is on leave.
Furthermore, Manche's Slack account appeared to be disabled for several days but became active again on Monday evening. Questions surrounding Movement's "victory" in protecting interests remain unanswered, along with Binance's delays and mysteries in this project.
