Futureverse acquires Candy Digital, Candy content will be integrated into The Root Network blockchain

According to Foresight News, Futureverse, an artificial intelligence and metaverse technology company, has announced the acquisition of digital collectibles platform Candy Digital, with the specific acquisition amount undisclosed. This transaction enables Futureverse to obtain the latter's blue-chip brand portfolio, including Major League Baseball, Netflix, and DC Comics. The acquisition allows Futureverse to access Candy's more than 4 million digital collectibles and a customer base of 1.5 million accounts. Candy's content library will be integrated into Futureverse's Layer-1 blockchain, The Root Network, which aims to address intellectual property protection issues.
