The Usual community is voting on the "early redemption fee reallocation" proposal

PANews reported on April 17 that the Snapshot voting page shows that the Usual community has initiated voting on the UIP-7 proposal for "Early Redemption Fee Redistribution". The voting will end on April 18. This proposal is a natural continuation of UIP-6, aimed at completing the redistribution of USUAL tokens collected from early redemption fees. According to community approval, 134 million USUAL tokens will be distributed as follows: 67 million USUAL tokens will be allocated to USUALx holders; 67 million USUAL tokens will be allocated to USUAL* holders. Among these, the first 47 million tokens in each group correspond to the early redemption fees mentioned and approved in UIP-6. This portion will be distributed through the Time-Weighted Average Position (TWAP) system over the next few weeks, rewarding stakers based on their position size and stability since January 19, 2025. The remaining 20 million tokens in each group accumulated after UIP-6 was passed due to ongoing early redemption activities. This newer portion will be distributed near the end of the redistribution period based on loyalty standards, focusing on rewarding holders who maintain their positions and have not sold the allocated rewards. The TWAP-based distribution will be conducted periodically from the date of this proposal's approval until the end of June 2025, fully following the schedule defined in UIP-6.
