According to Foresight News, Thala, a DeFi project in the Aptos ecosystem, announced that xLPT is now live on the Aptos mainnet to enhance DeFi ecosystem interoperability. Existing liquidity providers need to migrate their staked positions from individual liquidity pools. Thala stated that the xLPT contract has been audited by three independent security audit firms: OtterSec, Zellic, and Spearbit.
According to Thala Docs, xLPT, also known as Thala Staked LPT, is a special liquidity pool token (LPT) designed to achieve four goals: yield, appreciation, transferability, and composability.
