Coinbase CLO: We have obtained several unpublished documents from the Gensler era on ETH2.0 and plan to investigate further

Planet Daily News: Coinbase's Chief Legal Officer Paul Grewal posted on X platform, stating: "Through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) lawsuit, we obtained more details from the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) about the Ethereum 2.0 (ETH2.0) investigation during the Gensler era. We discovered the following files in their Vaugh index for unpublished materials and plan to further investigate: A PDF file from May 2022 titled 'Analysis of Ethereum 2.0 under the Howey Test', prepared by SEC staff. An email from February 2023 titled 'Response Regarding Whether Ethereum is a Security'. A PDF file from April 2023 titled '2 - Ethereum 2.0', which may be a memorandum received by commissioners before voting to authorize an investigation into Ethereum 2.0. An email from August 2023 titled 'Timing of Ethereum Discussion'. Two emails from February 2024, titled 'FW Spot Ethereum - Security or Non-Security' and 'Ethereum - Security or Non-Security'. Emails and attachments from February and April 2024 containing 'potential handling methods for specific legal issues related to Ethereum'.
