More than 70 US crypto ETFs await SEC rulings this year, ranging from mainstream coins to meme coins

According to Odaily, Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas stated that over 70 crypto ETFs are awaiting SEC review this year, covering assets such as XRP, LTC, SOL, Dogecoin, and crypto derivatives. He described 2025 as a "crazy year". Despite increasing institutional interest in the crypto market, analysts point out that approval does not guarantee widespread adoption, especially for non-mainstream altcoins. Sygnum Bank predicts that altcoin ETF capital inflows could range from hundreds of millions to $1 billion, far below the spot Bitcoin ETF's over $100 billion absorption capacity last year. Additionally, ARK Invest will include staked Solana in two of its ETFs on April 21, marking the first time US investors can access spot SOL through an ETF. (Cointelegraph)
