According to ChainCatcher and Decrypt, prisoner registration information from the Federal Bureau of Prisons shows that FTX co-founder and former CEO SBF has been transferred to Terminal Island, a low-security federal correctional facility in Los Angeles, after previously being held in a notorious violent medium-security prison in California.
A prisoner told Zoukis Consulting Group (a company specializing in collecting and publishing information about different prisons): The food and location here are great, and noted that it is close to water and has few violent incidents.
This is in stark contrast to the prison where SBF was previously held, which was known as "Victim Village". After being transferred by the Federal Bureau of Prisons from the Oklahoma transfer center to this prison earlier this month, he had been there for nearly two weeks.
