Virtual asset exchange Poblegate (hereinafter Poble) announced on the 24th that it has introduced a 'withdrawal fee selection feature'. The withdrawal fee selection feature allows exchange users to directly choose the type of asset to pay fees when withdrawing virtual assets.
Breaking away from the existing structure where fees could only be paid in a specific asset during withdrawal, the feature is designed to allow users to pay fees with other assets they hold. This feature was introduced to provide users with an active and strategic asset management option in the context of the crypto market environment, where global demand centered on Tether is increasing along with the expansion of the Web3 ecosystem.
In the existing blockchain environment, users had to accept a fixed fee system regardless of their own will due to the unique gas fee structure of each chain. Poble recognized this structural problem and improved the fee payment method to allow flexible selection according to the user's asset situation.
When withdrawing BTC, users previously had to pay fees only in BTC. However, at the Poble exchange, fees can now be paid in USDT. Poble plans to gradually expand the selection range to major asset types such as ETH and XRP, starting with Tether.
Poble CEO Ahn Hyun-jun said, "Through the introduction of this feature, we aimed to improve user asset management efficiency and enhance usability," and added, "We will continue to showcase practical features so that virtual asset users can experience sufficient competitiveness in terms of user experience."
