PANews reported on April 30 that according to The Block, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) issued a document announcing the postponement of the listing and trading application decisions for the Bitwise Dogecoin ETF and Franklin XRP fund. The SEC stated that more time is needed to evaluate the proposed rule changes, extending the final decision deadline for the Bitwise Dogecoin ETF to June 15 and the Franklin XRP fund to June 17. In the document, the SEC stated: "The Commission believes it is necessary to extend the review period to ensure sufficient time to evaluate the proposal and related issues." Bloomberg Industry Research ETF analyst James Seyffart said: "In my view, this is expected, and most of these applications have final deadlines in October 2025 or later."
