May 2, 2025 — The decentralized blockchain AI project Sahara AI officially announced on the X (Twitter) platform that the public SIWA Testnet will be officially launched on May 19. This information was confirmed by Sahara AI's official account and cited by Mars Finance, one of the leading cryptocurrency media channels in China.
SIWA is the first testnet marking an important step in Sahara AI's decentralized AI infrastructure development strategy. The project aims to build an ecosystem where data, AI models, and processing are completely distributed on-chain, protecting privacy and expanding interaction between users and AI agents in a trustless manner.
The SIWA launch in mid-May is of particular interest to the community, in a context where the intersection of blockchain and artificial intelligence is attracting large capital and becoming one of the strongest growth trends in Web3 in 2025.
Currently, Sahara AI has not yet disclosed details about the main features of the SIWA testnet, but is expected to include the ability to run decentralized AI agents, share models through independent nodes, and test initial tokenomics.
