According to PANews on May 7th, SlowMist founder Yu Xun issued another warning, stating that recently hackers have been impersonating Zoom to launch "disguised meeting" attacks specifically targeting crypto project teams and key personnel. Attackers deceive users by forging Zoom domain links to download and install malicious software, with "participants" in the video even using deepfake technology for disguise. Once the victim clicks to download, hackers can remotely control the computer and further steal funds or cloud permissions. Security experts remind users to carefully verify whether the meeting link is from the official domain (zoom.us or zoom.com) to prevent security risks brought by AI forgery.
