Radiant DAO community releases proposal to “compensate for losses caused by unlimited authorization vulnerability”

PANews reported on May 13 that the Radiant DAO community proposed "compensation for unlimited authorization vulnerability losses", intending to compensate victims of the "unlimited authorization vulnerability" through smart contracts, including compensation for unlimited authorization users' losses caused by the vulnerability on October 16, 2024 (involving Arbitrum and BNB Chain), amounting to $7.7 million in losses in 2024 and $1.2 million in losses in the first quarter of 2025. The core content of the plan includes: deploying a claims contract on Arbitrum and allocating funds proportionally based on user losses; consolidating all stolen tokens into a single stablecoin at market price (balances below $1 will be zeroed out). Compensation will be carried out in stages, expected to take several years, during which users can track progress through a dedicated portal. Funds will prioritize compensating RFP-47 proposal users, with remaining funds used for victims of this proposal. If stolen funds are recovered, they will be distributed proportionally among all affected users. It should be noted that if partners do not contribute funds as planned, related compensation may not be executed.
