PANews reported on May 14th that according to Fortune, JPMorgan Chase completed its first settlement transaction of tokenized U.S. Treasury bonds through a public blockchain on May 14th, marking a significant step from its "walled garden" private chain towards an open blockchain ecosystem. The transaction was provided by Ondo Finance's tokenized Treasury bond product and implemented through Chainlink's oracle services. Previously, JPMorgan Chase's digital asset operations were primarily conducted on its private chain Onyx, and this transaction demonstrates its strategic shift towards a more open financial infrastructure.
