Automaker DeLorean launches NFT system for electric car reservations on Sui

PANews reported on May 22 that, according to Cointelegraph, car manufacturer DeLorean launched an electric vehicle reservation Non-Fungible Token system on the Sui blockchain. Users holding a "Build Slot Non-Fungible Token" can obtain priority purchase rights for their new Alpha 5 EV electric vehicle, which is the brand's first new model in over 40 years. DeLorean established an exclusive Non-Fungible Token marketplace that supports users buying and selling reservation qualifications using USDC stablecoin. The company stated that it will use the Flux protocol to chain vehicle battery health, maintenance records, and other data to facilitate second-hand car transactions. The project also launched a utility token called DeLorean (DMC).
