On June 8th, MEET48, the world's first Web3.0 AI-Agent and AIUGC creator and fan economic ecosystem focused on entertainment, announced the launch of the IDOL airdrop plan, which will officially go online with the IDOL airdrop query page on June 9th, 2025 at 3:00 UTC, marking a key step into the new Web3 entertainment era.
The airdrop snapshot was completed on May 21st at 16:00 UTC, covering users, cooperative communities, special contributors, Mars Protocol active users, creators, top three of "The Mars Audition for Best3 AI-MEME", and Non-Fungible Token holders in the ecosystem. Users can log in to the airdrop page to check their eligibility and quantity through wallet address, email, or account ID. After TGE, the first airdrop will be immediately opened, with a validity period of 14 days, and any unclaimed tokens will be considered automatically forfeited.
IDOL tokens obtained through the airdrop can be used to participate in voting for the First Web3.0 Global Idol Annual Popularity Finals (The 1st Web3.0 All-Community Annual Idol Popularity Audition & Ceremony, abbreviated as WIPA). If users choose to use tokens from the yet-to-be-unlocked portion for voting, they will be deemed to have actively given up the subsequent linear unlocking rights for that portion of tokens. According to the rules, 50% of the airdrop allocation will be released at TGE, with the remaining portion to be linearly unlocked monthly in 6 installments starting 6 months later.
