As of June 11, 2025, Satoshi Nakamoto – Bitcoin's anonymous creator – has officially joined the ranks of the 10 richest individuals globally. The treasure of over 1 million BTC that this mysterious figure owns is currently valued at more than $119 billion, bringing Satoshi into the ultra-wealthy club without anyone knowing their true identity.
When BTC price fluctuated between $108,675 and $109,188 in recent hours, the bitcoin amount believed to be Satoshi Nakamoto's (around 1.09 million BTC) helped the Bitcoin creator surpass many famous billionaires. Currently, Satoshi is only behind Amancio Ortega – the founder of the Spanish fashion empire – with assets of around $124 billion.
Steve Ballmer, former Microsoft CEO with an estimated asset of $118 billion, has been overtaken by Nakamoto. Satoshi has maintained this top 10 position for three consecutive days while BTC fluctuates around the $108,500 - $110,500 range. If bitcoin price continues to increase, Nakamoto could quickly approach higher positions.
The Path to the Throne
To enter the top 5 and surpass Bernard Arnault – the luxury goods tycoon with $178 billion in assets, BTC would need to reach at least $162,409. To overtake Mark Zuckerberg, who currently holds the second position with $216 billion, BTC needs to rise to $197,080. To dethrone Elon Musk – the leader with $342 billion, bitcoin's price must exceed $313,761 per coin.
These calculations assume that the asset values of other billionaires remain unchanged – which rarely happens in reality. While the assets of other ultra-wealthy individuals typically fluctuate with the stock market and investments, Nakamoto's bitcoin block remains completely immobile, with no transactions since its mining.
Notably, Nakamoto's assets may never be moved, withdrawn, or even publicly acknowledged. This "silent" presence remains an anonymous but weighty milestone, closely tied to bitcoin market trajectories. Whether Nakamoto is alive or not, the Bitcoin creator's legacy has been and continues to redefine global asset distribution models.
