Trump Media raised $2.4 billion in funds, and there is still $12 billion in funds to expand the Patriot Economy in the future

U.S. President Donald Trump's media company, Trump Media and Technology Group (DJT), announced the completion of a private placement worth over $2.4 billion to establish a Bitcoin Treasury, with a remaining fundraising capacity of $12 billion, aiming to rapidly transform Trump Media into an indispensable company based on the patriot economy.

Issued common stocks, raising $1.4 billion in funds

Trump Media and Technology Group (DJT) recently submitted an S-3 form that was approved by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on June 13, 2025. The financing scale reached $2.3 billion, involving approximately 50 investors, including equity and debt financing.

DJT issued 55,857,181 common stocks at $25.72 per share, raising approximately $1.4 billion in funds.

As of June 4, 2025, DJT had 277,099,195 common stocks outstanding, with no preferred stocks.

Issued $10 billion convertible bonds

DJT also issued zero-coupon convertible bonds with a principal of $10 billion under the following conditions:

Issue price: $96 (4% original issue discount)

Principal amount: $10 billion

Maturity date: May 29, 2028

Coupon rate: 0%

Conversion price: $34.722

Disclosed investors such as Jane Street

The document also disclosed early investors such as Jane Street Global Trading and DRW Investments LLC, who will be able to sell their holdings after a designated date.

Subsequent fundraising plan of $12 billion

DJT can issue and sell common stocks, preferred stocks, debt securities, warrants, etc., with a total amount of up to $12 billion in one or more issuances to raise more funds.

Trump Media's CEO Devin Nunes stated: "We are actively implementing our plan to expand our company, products, and capabilities. By enhancing and developing our social media platform, TV streaming platform, and financial technology brand, while establishing a Bit Treasury, our goal is to continue rapidly transforming Trump Media into an indispensable company based on the patriot economy."
