According to ChainCatcher, citing The Verge, multiple tech companies sponsored the U.S. military parade held on June 14. Based on the latest statement from the America250 Foundation, technology enterprises such as cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase, data analysis company Palantir, Oracle, and Amazon became the main sponsors of the event.
Critics argue that the military parade is ostensibly to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, but the actual parade date coincides with former President Trump's 79th birthday.
Estimated to cost between $25 million and $45 million, partially funded by taxpayers, tech companies provided financial support for the celebration activities along the parade route.
