According to ChainCatcher, Mable Jiang announced the establishment of Trends, an on-chain social protocol, while ending her full-time work at FSL but continuing as an advisor. Trends aims to create a value-anchored social protocol, advancing the integration of information and finance.
The project has received early support from well-known industry founders and investors, including Solana founder Anatoly Yakovenko, the Jupiter team, LayerZero founder Bryan Pellegrino, and Multicoin partner Tushar Jain.
Trends will initially serve as an on-chain curation layer for X, with future plans to expand to more open content platforms. The protocol's core concept is to combine social behavior with value flow, enabling each piece of content to have its own value curve. Accounts that consistently produce high-quality content will accumulate reputation on-chain, thereby establishing a new paradigm of on-chain social capital.
