PANews reported on July 18 that, according to the official announcement, Binance will support the token conversion, increment, and brand upgrade of Maker (MKR) to Sky (SKY). The existing Skycoin token code SKY on the Binance platform will be replaced by the SKYCOIN code before July 25, 2025.
Please note: 1. The token code SKY was previously used by another token Skycoin, which was delisted on November 5, 2021; 2. The existing Skycoin (SKY) token on the Binance platform will use SKYCOIN as its token code and will be replaced by the SKYCOIN code before July 25, 2025; 3. Between July 21, 2025, and July 25, 2025, all original Skycoin (SKY) tokens will be converted to SKYCOIN tokens at a ratio of 1 old SKY = 1 new SKYCOIN. Please check the token distribution history on this page; 4. Binance will assist users holding old Skycoin (SKY) tokens in their Binance accounts with any technical issues involved.
