According to Foresight News, Pump.fun announced the launch of an application process for Community Takeover (CTO) creator fees. All projects still on the bonding curve or migrated to PumpSwap may be eligible to redirect creator fees to another wallet address. However, if tokens have been migrated to Raydium (tokens migrated before March 20, 2025), they do not qualify for redirection, as the smart contract is not under Pump.fun's control.
A valid community takeover requires undisputable evidence that the community cannot survive without a Custodian of Takeover (CTO). If there are reasonable disputes about who should receive the creator fees, the fees will not be redirected. Pump.fun will not intervene in disputes, and the situation must be extremely clear, with false community takeovers not being permitted. To apply for CTO creator fees, one must fill out the relevant form, after which team members will contact via email to ask further questions or inform about the application result.
