Trump Media partners with Yorkville Acquisition and Crypto.com to create a multi-billion dollar digital asset strategy company, paving the way for the US digital economy era.
Yorkville Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: YORK), Trump Media & Technology Group Corp. (Nasdaq, NYSE Texas: DJT) – now under the direct leadership of President Donald Trump – and Crypto.com have announced a historic partnership. The three companies will jointly form Trump Media Group CRO Strategy, Inc. , a digital asset strategy firm focused on managing and growing a cryptocurrency reserve with CRO – the native Token of the Cronos ecosystem .
Under the agreement, Trump Media Group CRO Strategy will receive seed funding consisting of $1 billion in CRO (equivalent to more than 6.3 billion CRO Token – representing nearly 19% of its market Capital at the time of the announcement), $200 million in cash , $220 million in mandatory exercise of stock options , and a $5 billion line of credit from Yorkville affiliate YA II PN, Ltd. If completed, it will be the world’s first and largest publicly traded CRO storage company , setting a record for the size of its digital assets relative to its market Capital .
Notably, Yorkville Acquisition Corp.’s Class A shares will be listed on Nasdaq under the new ticker symbol “MCGA” — short for “Make Crypto Great Again,” in the spirit of Mr. Trump’s familiar slogan. Once the deal is complete, the ticker will transfer to Trump Media Group CRO Strategy.
To demonstrate their long-term commitment, Yorkville, Trump Media, and Crypto.com have each agreed to a 1-year lock-up for all shares and founder warrants, followed by a 3-year extended unlock schedule.
