We've been able to compile and run pure Rust code on Miden VM for a while, but this is the first time we can write Miden smart contracts in Rust. There is still a lot to do (especially around ergonomics of defining smart contracts) but this is a huge milestone. The amount of engineering that went into this is insane - we are really advancing the boundaries of compiler technology 🦀🚀
